Jason Heisey, LCPC, ATR-BC, is a licensed clinical professional counselor and board-certified art therapist who has been part of the Logan Health team since 2017. He serves as a mental health art therapist in both School-Based Mental Health at Edgerton Elementary and Logan Health Cancer Support Services. Before pursuing a career in counseling, Jason worked as a graphic designer for seven years. His passion for mentoring and art inspired him to transition into mental health, where he became a licensed therapist and ultimately earned board certification in art therapy. Over the years, he has gained experience in wilderness therapy, residential boarding schools, and school-based mental health programs in Columbia Falls and Kalispell.
Jason is the current President of the Montana Art Therapy Association and is dedicated to advancing the field of art therapy across the state. In his work, he often integrates play and creative expression into sessions, using art as a powerful tool to build therapeutic relationships and foster meaningful conversations with clients.
