This year, Logan Health will be hosting bike relays at two locations – the Glacier High School Gymnasium and the Shelby Civic Center. Each location will be equipped with stationary bikes for teams with up to 12 riders each, working together to raise a minimum of $1,500 for their team through peer-to-peer fundraising.

“CycleMT embodies our collective commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of our Montana children with medical hardships,” said Logan Health President & CEO Craig Lambrecht, MD. “As we embark on the second year of this transformative event, I am inspired by the unwavering determination within our community.”

During the six-hour event, each team member will pedal as far and as fast as they can for 20 minutes on the stationary bikes. The distance will be recorded on a computer and turned in to the bike hub, where teams can see their results in real time.

“This fundraiser is more than just a ride; it’s a testament to our shared dedication to providing hope, healing, and support,” said Logan Health Foundation President Joe McClafferty. “Let the wheels of CycleMT turn with purpose, as we pedal towards a brighter and healthier future for the courageous youth who need it most.”

Riders can register teams at logan.org/CycleMT, and download a toolkit with tips and tricks on how to raise money for their team.

CycleMT raised over $100,000 through generous donations, peer-to-peer fundraising by participants, and sponsorship support from community partners. In 2023, Logan Health distributed funds to eligible applicants, benefiting families with items like modified trikes, therapy swings, AEDs, and more to children throughout the state.

All proceeds will go toward a fund that supports Montana children and young adults under age 21 with medical hardships that are not covered by other means of funding—such as travel, and home modifications not covered by health insurance. Individuals and families interested in applying for funding can access the eligibility requirements and application at www.logan.org/CycleMT.
