Logan Health is thrilled to announce EMS Night at the Glacier Range Riders baseball game on June 21, 2024. This special event will feature an exciting pre-game showcase on the concourse of Glacier Bank Park, where kids and fans can interact with various EMS vehicles and crews, including ladder fire trucks, brush trucks, fire engines, ambulances and the A.L.E.R.T. helicopter.
The event aims to honor and recognize the vital work of our local EMS teams. Beginning at 6:05 p.m., attendees will have the unique opportunity to climb into the vehicles, meet the EMS crews, and learn about the lifesaving work they perform daily. This family-friendly event promises to be both educational and entertaining, providing a rare behind-the-scenes look at emergency response equipment and personnel.
Kenny Lard, Logan Health’s Clinical Nurse Director for A.L.E.R.T., emphasizes the importance of the A.L.E.R.T. helicopter in our community. “The A.L.E.R.T. helicopter is an invaluable resource for rural Montana, providing rapid response and critical care when every second counts,” Lard said. “Our community’s vast and rugged terrain makes it essential for timely medical intervention, and we are proud to offer such a vital service.”
Logan Health invites everyone to come out, show their support for our local EMS crews, and enjoy an evening of baseball with the Glacier Range Riders. Together, let’s celebrate the dedication and hard work of these incredible individuals who make our community safer.
Ryan Pitts, Logan Health’s Executive Director of Regional EMS, highlights the importance of recognizing EMS personnel. “EMS teams are the unsung heroes of our community, consistently working on the front lines to save lives,” Pitts said. “It’s exciting to give kids and fans the chance to meet these dedicated professionals at the Range Riders EMS Night. This event not only celebrates their contributions but also educates the public about the essential roles they play in our healthcare system.”
