Logan Health – Conrad, along with several community partners, recently donated $5,126 to support the Conrad School District Backpack Program, helping provide weekend food packs for local students in need throughout the school year.
The donation was made possible through contributions from Logan Health – Conrad, Stockman Bank, Pondera County Health Department, Pondera Health Care Foundation, Stokes Market, and proceeds from the annual Whoop-Up Fun Run held in June 2026.
The Whoop-Up Fun Run drew 55 registered runners and many additional community members. Registration fees, free-will donations, and proceeds from race T-shirt sales were dedicated to the Conrad School-Based Health Clinic’s Weekend Food Pack Program.
“Our school backpack program has been such a meaningful resource for our students and families,” said Nicki Sullivan, Conrad School Nurse. “We are so grateful for the generosity and community support that makes this program possible and helps ensure our students have what they need to be successful at school and at home.”
The Conrad School-Based Health Clinic’s Weekend Food Pack Program provides students in need with free food packs each weekend. The program operates year-round, including during the summer months, helping ensure that children have access to nutritious food when school meals are not available. To protect student privacy, the program is completely confidential, with food packs sent home discreetly.
Organizers say the continued support from local businesses, organizations, and community members demonstrates a shared commitment to the health and well-being of Conrad students and families. The recent donation will help ensure the backpack program can continue providing critical weekend food assistance to students throughout the coming school year.
