Board-certified family nurse practitioner and pain management nurse, Shane Jenson, FNP-C, RN PMGT-BC, is now accepting new patients at Logan Health Clinic – Shelby. Shane holds almost 30 years of nursing experience and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2009.
Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Shane began his undergraduate work in Minnesota and North Dakota and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Dakota. He then completed his Master of Science in Nursing and family nurse practitioner degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California where he was also honored with the President’s Society Award.
Before relocating to Montana, Shane practiced in Arizona. Previously moving to Shelby, he worked in Havre, Montana since 2018. Shane enjoys being a part of his patient’s lives the most. “There are so many things involved in the business of health care, but in the end, it comes down to a relationship between two people and I feel privileged to be a part of that,” said Jenson.
Shane is continuing his specialization in the treatment of pain management and interventional procedures at Logan Health Clinic – Shelby. Services Shane provides under chronic pain management are joint and epidural injections, as well as Medically Assisted Detox from narcotic prescriptions or street drugs. Patients can also schedule an appointment with Shane for walk-in and same-day services, primary care services, physicals, wellness exams, and more.
