Cancer Support Services offers a range of support services for youth and adults undergoing treatment or recent recovery of cancer. It takes a community to build a place for people affected by cancer. We count on working with the community as donors and volunteers to implement this important work. There is a place for you here.

Our Programs

Check our calendar regularly, as our activities are being updated each month. Schedules are subject to change and we kindly request that you RSVP by calling (406) 752-0130 for group activities so we can plan accordingly. Our activities are intended to help heal and strengthen those impacted by cancer.

Education

There are so many questions that arise related to a cancer diagnosis. Getting advice and tips from others can make help speed the process to greater understanding and self-confidence. Our educational classes are intended to broaden your knowledge of topics relating to cancer treatment and recovery.

Wig Fittings 
By Appointment Only
Call us to schedule a wig fitting at our beauty room located at Radiation Oncology. Wig fitting, wig, and all care products will be provided.

Look Good Feel Better
Look Good Feel Better is a program that helps people with cancer deal with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Logan Health cancer patients can attend virtual group workshops at no cost. Learn about skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories, and styling during live instruction about tips for dealing with visible side effects of cancer treatment. Support and Social Connections

Exchanging information and talking about your feelings with others can help boost your knowledge, reduce feelings of loneliness, and help foster a greater sense of hope. Support groups and social gatherings meet regularly and include Cancer Support Group and Caregiver Support Group. Check the calendar for schedules. Art Therapy Support Group
This six-week closed art therapy group is for active treatment patients or those six to twelve months post-treatment. During weekly two-hour sessions, members will creatively process various aspects of their cancer journey using a variety of art materials. Art therapy will be facilitated by licensed counselors and art therapists. Please call to register.

Nicotine-Free Living
In this program, we provider group support and individual coaching for those seeking to quit tobacco and live nicotine-free lives. Our coaches will build you a plan for making healthy, self-honoring choices that can raise your energy and give you confidence in quitting. Call (406) 751-7675.

Mind and Body

These offerings focus on stress reduction and strength-building for anyone affected by cancer. We offer an array of activities with varied energy commitments to the community so you can stay connected during all your phases of cancer treatment.

PiYo
Join CSS in weekly Pilates classes. Through small movements, use of breath and focus, this blend of Pilates and yoga improves posture, helps you regain balance, and increases flexibility and strength in your entire body. Pilates can improve posture, help you regain balance, and increase flexibility and strength in your entire body.

Tai Chi 
Develop balance, strength, relaxation, and improved respiration and circulation with graceful movement, deep breathing, and mental concentration. Learn at your own pace. Located at the Logan Health Fitness Center.

Aqua Zumba
Upbeat water class. Easy to follow dance movements for all levels. Low impact exercise that is easy on your joints. Located at the Logan Health Fitness Center.

J-Walking
A weekly walking group around the hospital campus.
