Jennifer Samuel, PMHNP, AGNP, joined Logan Health Behavioral Health in December 2024 as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the Whitefish location. Hailing from Lynbrook, New York on Long Island, Jennifer attended Adelphi University for undergraduate and graduate studies. She started practicing as a nurse in cardiology before transitioning to behavioral health. Jennifer earned her master’s in nursing specializing as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She then completed a post-master’s certification at Adelphi University to become dual-certified as a psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer completed her clinical training in the Mount Sinai Health System in New York in the CPEP and inpatient psychiatry units. She has worked mainly in telehealth roles during my time practicing behavioral health while traveling.
Jennifer loves connecting deeply with her patients, learning about their lives and the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life and help them become the best version of themselves. In her own time, she enjoys being outdoors and love hiking, skiing, and enjoying the snow. I also love spending quality time with my family and my dog, cooking, baking and reading thriller novels.
