Visitor restrictions begin at KRMC

Effective February 5, 2020, visitor restrictions at Kalispell Regional Medical Center (KRMC), are in effect due to increased flu activity. The restrictions apply to KRMC, The HealthCenter, Montana Children's and Brendan House.

Right now, people with symptoms of a cough, runny or stuffed nose, or fever, along with children under the age of 13, are asked to refrain from visiting.

If you have questions, please ask the receptionist, admissions staff or the nurse. Visitor restrictions are put in place when flu transmission is high in the community. The restrictions help control the spread of the flu virus in the hospital.

The best defense against the flu is immunization and frequent hand washing. Stay home if you experience flu or flu-like systems; this will help prevent the flu from being passed to others.

We thank you for helping keep our patients and staff healthy this flu season.
