KRH implements expanded visitor restrictions at all hospital facilities

Ensuring patients are cared for in a safe and healthy environment is our highest priority. This is the most up-to-date information regarding visitor restrictions.

KRH is expanding visitor restrictions at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, The HealthCenter and North Valley Hospital to protect the health and safety of our patients, families and staff in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The restrictions are intended to minimize the spread of COVID-19 at KRH hospitals and the communities we serve.

Effective March 13, 2020, the visitor restrictions will:

  • Restrict visitors to one designated family member per patient, and

  • Limit access to one entry point in each facility.

Community members are reminded that the best way to prevent the spread of illness is through preventive measures including:

  • Washing hands thoroughly and often.

  • Covering your cough.

  • Avoiding touching your face.

  • Staying home if you’re sick.

  • Avoiding large gatherings and close contact with people who are ill.

We will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation through recommendations from our infection prevention specialists, state and local health officials, and the CDC; and update the community as the situation continues to develop.
