2018 Pink Me Up! Event Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended the sixth annual Pink Me Up! Color Celebration

We had 900 runners that fought cancer with fitness and got blasted with tons of color along the way. The biggest hit for the second year in a row was the slip n slide. This 50 foot slip n slide featured tons of pink paint, fun pool floaties and energetic volunteers to cheer you on.

And the award goes to...

Our team awards went to Shannon’s Unicorn Squad for biggest team at 50+ people, best-dressed team was the Pink Wonders and the best team name went to Breast Team Ever. This color filled day raised $18,000 for the KRH Cancer Support & Survivorship program where 100% of those proceeds go to our Flathead Valley loved ones who can gain support in a time where it is needed most.

Thank you sponsors!

A huge thank you goes out to the 2018 sponsors, Ambry Genetics, Edward Jones, Fidelity National Title, Flathead Beacon, Flathead Electric, Genentech, Genomic Health, Glacier Bank, The HealthCenter, J2 Business Products, Jackola, McKenzie River Pub North Kalispell, National Flood Services, Parkside Credit Union, Ron Terry Construction, Whitefish Credit Union, Whitefish Mountain Resort.

We thank our community for their overwhelming support of cancer awareness and of the KRH Cancer Support & Survivorship program (CSS), here in Kalispell. If you were not able to be involved in the 2018 Pink Me Up! event you can support CSS by spreading the word of the program to those affected by cancer and getting involved in the CSS Mardi Gras Gala on March 2, 2019. Thank you for creating a memorable Pink Me up! event this year. Join us in saying CANCER STINKS!
