Melinda Payne, M.D. is a board certified general psychiatrist and child and adolescent psychiatrist. She has cared for patients at both Pathways and the Newman Center, and now works full-time at the Newman Center. Dr. Payne’s undergraduate studies included biology and music performance. She then earned her degree in medicine from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. Dr. Payne completed her residency in adult psychiatry followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Arizona. She specializes in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Payne is recognized as a published author and by the Public Health Service for Outstanding Service.
