Alexis Whaley, MD, is a provider at Rocky Mountain Heart & Lung. She brings substantial experience in expert care focused on pediatric and adult sleep medicine. Her approach when working with patients aligns with her beliefs that sleep is critical for wellness, physical, and emotional health, as well as for learning and healing. Dr. Whaley earned her medical degree from University of Wisconsin and subsequently attended Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth for residency. Over the past 14 years, Dr. Whaley has had a great deal of experience working as a general pediatrician, working as the Sleep Center Director for UP Sleep Disorders Center Iron Mountain in Michigan, and working in pediatric sleep medicine. Her professional interests include narcolepsy, hypersomnia, pediatric sleep medicine, mental health, and adolescent sleep. For fun, Dr. Whaley enjoys cross country and downhill skiing and loves spending time by the lake and mountains.
