As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Stanley Makman, M.D., treats a full range of orthopedic injuries and conditions at Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Makman received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. While there, he also completed his residency training in orthopedics. Dr. Makman has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 1993. His clinical focus is in joint reconstruction, hip and shoulder arthroscopy, as well as total knee and total hip replacement. He has a special interest in Mako Robotic Surgery. In college, Dr. Makman competed in ski racing and ice dancing events. He continues to enjoy kayaking, bicycling, skiing, and skating.
