Robert Rogers, MD, joined Logan Health Women's Care in 2005 after more than two decades practicing gynecology in Pennsylvania. Dr. Rogers studied medicine at the University of Lausanne School of Medicine in Lausanne, Switzerland, and at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he received his medical degree in 1980. He specialized in obstetrics and gynecology for the next four years, completing his residency at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. He then went into private practice and served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rogers specializes in laparoscopic surgery, pelvic reconstructive surgery and bladder repair for urinary loss. He also continues to lecture, write and teach on new surgical techniques for female surgery, both in national and international venues. A Baltimore, Maryland, native, Dr. Rogers and his wife, Shirley, enjoy spending time outdoors with their children and grandchildren – hiking, exploring Glacier National Park, canoeing and snowshoeing.
