Michelle grew up in Bellevue, Washington. She has been a resident of the Flathead Valley since 1991. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA in 1985. She practiced nursing in the hospital setting for 10 years, focusing on pediatrics and intensive care. Once she moved to Montana, Michelle recognized the need for primary care providers in our growing community. She received a Masters of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA in 1995. She spent 20 years providing primary care to our local community and rural Montana towns. As the need for specialty providers grew, Michelle transitioned to urology in 2017 becoming a Certified Urology Nurse Practitioner in 2018. She plans to continue in this role for the duration of her career. When not working with patients Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Kurt, their three adult children, and her parents. She can be found hiking a mountain top, working in the garden and volunteering at her church.
