Michael (Todd) Rutherford, MD, joined the Logan Health family in July 2014, where he practices at Logan Health Newman Center. He has a particular interest in treating children and adolescents for psychiatric issues. Dr. Rutherford earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his general psychiatry residency through Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and stayed at Vanderbilt for an additional two years to complete his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. During his clinical training, he additionally worked at Hermitage Hall in Nashville performing psychiatric evaluations and providing ongoing psychiatric care at a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents with a history of trauma. Dr. Rutherford fits well into northwest Montana, as he enjoys backpacking, hiking and general outdoor pursuits. He also has a keen interest in medieval art.
