Laura Kathleen Cox, MD, is a practicing physician at Logan Health OB/GYN. At University of North Carolina - Asheville, she double-majored in Cellular and Molecular Biology as well as Spanish, receiving a Bachelor of Science in both fields. She then attended University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where she received her medical degree. During her residency with Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Cox worked at Logan Health for a month on her rotation, and fell in love with both the practice and the area. She has a number of different specialties, including: normal and high-risk obstetrics, addiction medicine, gynecologic care, minimally invasive surgery, and international medicine. She loves bicycle touring, and even biked cross country from Richmond, Virginia to Kalispell to start her new job here at Logan Health. Her other hobbies include being outdoors, staying active with Crossfit and weightlifting, horseback riding, and traveling.
