Ida Wilson, MD, joined the Logan Health Surgical Clinic in September 2023. A native of Great Falls, Montana, Dr. Wilson earned undergraduate degrees in Human Biology from the University of Montana and Nursing from Montana State University. She went on to work as an ER nurse, which influenced her decision to go into trauma surgery. She went on to attend the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center and her Surgical/Critical Care fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Wilson is a surgeon in the General Surgery department, where she provides emergency emergency general surgical care, including trauma. She is both an ICU physician and surgeon by training. Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her family, downhill skiing, cycling and fly fishing.
