Elizabeth Jaffe, MD, is a knowledgeable family medicine physician who brings over 15 years of experience to patients at Logan Health Primary Care – 1287 Burns Way. Dr. Jaffe completed her family medicine residency in 2006 at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno before starting a private family medicine practice in Sparks, Nevada. She worked there from 2006 to 2011 before transitioning to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in 2017, where she provided care in their family medicine center. In 2017 she went to work at the Student Health Center at the University of Nevada, Reno, and worked in student health care services for six years. Because of her hard work in the field, she has received several recognitions, including multiple teaching awards at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, as well as the Outstanding Provider in College Health award in 2020.
In the clinic, Dr. Jaffe provides the full spectrum of outpatient family medical services. She also has special interest and expertise in preventive care, women’s health, adolescent health and dermatology. When she’s away from the office, she likes to spend time outdoors with her family and two dogs, hiking, skiing, fishing, and paddleboarding.
