Ed Stein, MD, has been with Logan Health since 1997. He serves as Medical Director, as well as a family medicine physician for Eureka Healthcare Primary Care. Dr. Stein earned his medical degree from the University of Washington, School of Medicine, in 1994 and spent his residency at Family Medicine Spokane. With special interests in rural medicine and a team approach to medical care, he’s used his role in Eureka to build a collaborative care environment—integrating all members of the clinical staff as support for the patient and their families. Dr. Stein has dedicated much of his career to helping underserved populations and communities in rural Montana. With focused efforts in promoting healthy lifestyle and preventive health, he’s helped bring high-quality medical care and facility resources to the Eureka service area. In his free time, Dr. Stein enjoys spending time mountain biking and snowshoeing in Montana’s beautiful landscapes, beekeeping, and spending time with his family.
