Otolaryngologist David Healy, MD, joined the Glacier Ear, Nose, & Throat group in August 2015, and practices in Kalispell Regional Healthcare facilities as a member of the active medical staff. The U.S. Navy Medical Corps commander comes to Kalispell after serving as a Navy otolaryngologist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, and Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Healy earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, then completed his general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He completed a fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Healy achieved the rank of captain in the United States Marine Corps. He also served as a Marine Corps infantry battalion surgeon during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He enjoys spending his leisure time with his family of five in the great outdoors of Montana.
