Brittany Coburn, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner, a primary care provider and the director of Logan Health’s School-Based Health Center program. Additionally, Brittany has been an assistant professor with The College of Nursing at MSU-Kalispell for ten years, helping to guide aspiring nurse to successful careers. She joined the Logan Health family in October, 2010 at Logan Health Whitefish. In her 10 years with Logan Health, Brittany has practiced in multiple locations and settings, but her commitment to patients has always been the same. She believes in offering a holistic view of health and focuses on the entire individual, rather than just the perceived problem. Brittany loves when she is able to help patients truly live their best life—reaching their optimal sense of health and helping them reach their health goals. She is an advocate for the Food RX program where patients are able to receive fresh, local produce to feed themselves and their family. Brittany loves being a partner to her patients and giving them access to her knowledge to alleviate their fears and empower them to make great choices for their health. Her patients say that she is a great listener. She always shows her patients empathy, compassion and most importantly is able to provide great support to help them on their journey to wellness. Her roots in education make her an excellent at teaching her patients about their disease, care plan, and options. She provides full spectrum family medical care with a focus on wellness and prevention. In particular, Brittany enjoys working with adolescents to help them address their mental health concerns with the teen and also with their parents. Outside of work, you’re likely to run into Brittany outdoors. Her family loves camping and boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.
