Hospitalist Anna Robbins, MD, joined the Logan Health Medical Center Hospitalist Program in January 2015. Dr. Robbins graduated with highest honors from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, then completed her medical degree through Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She stayed with Creighton to complete her internal medicine residency program. During her final year of residency she worked with Midwest Minor Medical in Omaha, and later served as an assistant professor of medicine for Creighton University Medical Center. Dr. Robbins began practicing with the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System in Omaha, first as a physician lead for its resident clinic and then, beginning in July 2013, as a hospitalist. At that time she also took on responsibilities as a volunteer faculty member for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, and held both those positions until joining Logan Health. Away from the hospital, Dr. Robbins enjoys spending time with her husband, Doug, and two children, Tristan and Adelaide. She also is enthusiastic about hiking, cooking, gardening, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
