Alex Merkle, PA-C, joined the Logan Health team in January 2023 as a surgical physician assistant specializing in trauma/acute care surgery and surgical critical care. Prior to his time in Kalispell, he attended the Army's Surgical/Critical Care PA fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center and subsequently supported military special operations globally. He is also a graduate of University of California’s school of medicine. Today, Alex still pays homage to his pre-hospital roots by volunteering as a first responder.
