There are so many questions that arise related to a cancer diagnosis. Getting advice and tips from others can make help speed the process to greater understanding and self-confidence. Our educational classes are intended to broaden your knowledge of topics relating to cancer treatment and recovery. They are open to anyone diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones.

Wig Fittings

Join our CSS Social Worker in a wig fitting at our beauty room located at Radiation Oncology. Wig fitting, wig, and all care products are all provided.

Support and Social Connections

Exchanging information and talking about your feelings with others can help boost your knowledge, reduce feelings of loneliness, and help foster a greater sense of hope. Support groups and social gatherings meet regularly and include Cancer Support Group and Caregiver Support Group. Check the calendar for schedules. Individual, Couple, and Family Counseling

Counseling services are available to the cancer patient, cancer survivor, and their caregivers and loved ones that need support. 

Cancer Support Group
3rd Tuesday 
This group is for those who have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, at any stage. 

Caregiver Support Group 
4th Tuesday 
This group is intended to allow family and friends time to talk about their experiences related to cancer and caregiving. 

Book Club 
Various Dates 
Join us for a fun and interesting evening of discussing the book of the month. We as a group will decide what to read each month. This group receives generous support from Save A Sister. 

CSS Art Night
Various Dates 
Join CSS at local art studios around the Flathead Valley for unique monthly art classes. 

Mind and Body

These offerings focus on stress-reduction and strength-building for anyone affected by cancer and their family and friends. These are more quiet times to focus on healing, friendship, relaxation and education for those impacted by cancer.

Join CSS in weekly Pilates classes taught by the Pilates Scene. Through small movements, use of breath and focus. Pilates can improve posture, help you regain balance and increase flexibility and strength in your entire body. 

Tai Chi 
Develop balance, strength, relaxation and improved respiration and circulation with graceful movement, deep breathing, and mental concentration. Learn at your own pace. Located at the Logan Health Fitness Center. 

Healthy Lifestyle

Your normal routine, sleep cycle, and energy levels require monitoring and regulation to ensure you are the healthiest you can be during treatment and recovery.  Also, staying active and socially engaged can be a positive catalyst in recovery. We offer an array of activities with varied energy commitments to the community so you can stay connected during all your phases of cancer treatment. 

Active Outings
