How much does it cost?
You will receive a bill directly from Montana Pediatrics. The cost you will pay out of pocket if you have insurance depends on your insurance plan — which will be billed the same amount you would pay for an uncomplicated office visit. Insurance will be billed first and then remaining out-of-pocket costs will be charged to the credit card on your Montana Pediatrics account. If you are using Medicaid, you will not need to enter a credit card and Montana Pediatrics will contact you later if there is a small out-of-pocket charge. If you do not have private insurance or Medicaid, Montana Pediatrics does offer cash-pay options.
You should never feel stressed about accessing care for your child! If you feel an after-hours visit would be a financial hardship, Montana Pediatrics has a great Financial Assistance Policy that may reduce or eliminate your bill. Click here to learn more or apply for financial assistance.
What doctor will my child see?
Montana Pediatrics’ is a collaboration of more than 50% of Montana’s practicing pediatric providers! Find the list of participating providers here.
How will you know if my child needs follow-up care?
Our office will receive a notification alerting us to your after-hours visit and will include any specific details that may be important for us to know. If there is any follow-up needed, we’ll know just as soon as our office is open again and will contact you to arrange the next steps.
