Educational Tours

INTRODUCTION

Logan Health seeks to contribute to education by maintaining a training program committed to providing quality learning experiences.

EDUCATIONAL TOURS

Definition: Tours at Logan Health are defined as pre-planned educational experiences that are no longer than two hours in any one department and are completed on a scheduled day. Individuals participating in a Tour are on a Logan Health Campus location to observe and/or learn about a specific department or departments. A Tour participant will not have any direct physical contact with a patient, nor would they participate in the treatment of a patient. These individuals are only at the organization to participate in a limited and chaperoned tour. These tours are to be approved and scheduled by the Logan Health Student Affiliations Department.

If an individual is here to observe for more than two hours, they need to go through the observer clearance and scheduling process. This process and application can be found on our Observers website.
