Olympic weightlifting training is extremely effective at improving strength, power, mobility, coordination, and skill. Qualities that can be used with great benefit on all fields of play. This 12-week class will teach athletes the appropriate skills to perform the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk lifts correctly and safely, providing them with a solid foundation to build their weightlifting journey on top of. This will be done using the Olympic lifts and their variations, technique drills, mobility drills, and accessory lifts. All classes will be taught by a USA weightlifting certified coach who has worked with hundreds of athletes, at every level of performance, on training and improving their skill in the Olympic lifts.
