Brad Knutson is originally from Billings, MT and has been a USPTA Certified Professional for 10 years. He played tennis for Skyview High School and was a state doubles finalist both his junior and senior years. He went on to play for Montana State University Billings where he play the #3 singles and #1 doubles positions. NCAA Division II Championships 2011 | All Conference RMAC 2012. Brad graduated with a degree in Music Education in 2012. After graduating, Brad began his career teaching tennis professionally at the MSUB Tennis Bubble and the Elks Tennis Center. In 2016, he became the Head Tennis Professional at the Elks Tennis Center. In addition to teaching at the indoor club, Brad was a Recreation Specialist and the Director of Racquet and Paddle Sports for Billings Parks and Recreation. In 2018, he was the recipient of the USPTA Intermountain Star Award for his work introducing Tennis Is Elementary Programs in area elementary schools throughout Billings. Brad serves on the USTA Montana Board of Directors and chairs the Junior Tennis Committee. He is also the Montana Representative for the Junior Programs Committee of USTA Intermountain. Brad has a passion for coaching competitive juniors and growing tennis at a grass roots level. Brad continues to play competitively through tournaments in Montana and captains Montana’s 5.0 + Mens League team. Brad is very excited to bring his experience and passion for teaching tennis to the Logan Health Tennis Center.

Jeff Smith
Head Tennis Professional
Jeff Smith is from Crane Lake, Minnesota but now resides in Whitefish, Montana. He played college tennis at Colby College in Waterville, Maine where he played #2 doubles and #5 singles. He also played #4 singles on the Intercollegiate Squash team. He began his career teaching tennis at junior and adult tennis camps on the East Coast. After serving as the Director of Tennis at an international junior tennis camp in England, he became a teaching pro at the Washington Golf & Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. After several years of teaching, he took a detour in financial services first at KPMG and then Wells Fargo as a Director of Internal Audit. He started teaching tennis again last June (2022) when he joined Logan Health Medical Fitness. When he is not on the courts, he is outside enjoying everything Montana has to offer.
