Code Emergency Response System

Summit Default

What is a code?

Code yellow, code blue, code red. Have some of these colorful overhead announcements made you wonder, "What in the world is going on at Logan Health Medical Fitness Center?"

Codes are our emergency response system. We announce codes overhead to notifying staff quickly of a particular emergency situation occurring within the facility. Staff are trained to respond to these announcements with very specific actions designed to protect you, our valued members and guests. In an effort to ensure the best possible response by our staff, we regularly run Code Drills as practice.

A code may be a serious situations. Please help us out by following any directions you may be given. Some of these situations may involve a medical emergency, so we ask that you help us maintain both privacy and safety by not going to the location of the code unless you are a medical professional and wish to assist. Remember, our number one priority is to keep everyone in the building safe.

If you are unsure of what to do after you hear one of these announcements, please don't hesitate to ask a staff member. Thank you for your patience during all Code situations.
