The sixth annual Spring Into Safety Kid’s Day will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Trade Center at Northwest Montana Fairgrounds. The event is free and open to the whole family.
Organizers will give away more than 1,000 kids’ bicycle helmets, courtesy of Flathead Electric’s Roundup for Safety program.
Bring your bikes for a maintenance check and try out the road safety course. Car seat safety checks will also be provided. In addition, there will be kids games, face painting and other fun activities.
Both the A.L.E.R.T. and Two Bear Air helicopters and crews will be present at the event, as well as local police, fire, emergency services, and search and rescue. More than 30 community programs will be on hand to showcase what they do for local kids and families.
